Design of extensive residential landscape serving a large rural dwelling, procured through traditional contract with a value of greater than £1 million. The site is within the Ashdown Forest AONB and features complex topography. The design includes multiple terraces, sculpted landform and an extensive model railway while seeking to protect and celebrate the historic pale of the forest and its ancient hedgerows. An exceptionally high standard of materials is used throughout including locally-sourced stone and native planting. Completed under the Oakden Landscape Studio brand, our involvement extended from project inception through to completion.
